Rules for traveling with the JMU Swing Dance Club

(as required by the Sports Club Council).

NOTE: There are NO EXCEPTIONS to these rules. 

• If you ever plan to drive anywhere with swing kids, you need to email the Social Chair:
  
• type of car
  
• license plate number
  
• driver's social security number
  
• insurance company name & number 

• More importantly if you ever plan on traveling with swing here are some rules/guidelines and please note the change for Spring 2007:
• The Social Chair MUST have your SSN from SCC forms.
• You must sign the Social Chair's sign-up sheet by Tuesday night (or email the Social Chair before swing on Tuesday night) before the event if you are attending.  I cannot take "maybe"s anymore and I must have your final answer that night.
  
• If the above conditions are not met, you will not be allowed to go with JMU Swing Dance Club. 

• If you follow the directions and are attending, then you will receive an email stating which car you are in and where & when to meet your driver/riders.  Usually we meet between Godwin & the bookstore, but please check your email.
• Due to a variety of problems on past OVERNIGHT trips, the Social Chair does not organize transportation for these overnight events. Participants are expected to find alternative means of transportation. Additionally, riders may ONLY ride with participants who are being housed by the SAME host.
  

We cannot allow anyone to go if they have not followed the directions because a travel form must be turned in to SCC and only those who get on the form can go. 

Do not IM, text, or facebook message the Social Chair confirmations; ONLY confirmation through email will be accepted!
