Here are the results for the In House Tournament we had on Saturday, March 3, 2007. Everyone, thanks for coming!! Everyone did a great job!

Extra thanks to Bingnan and others who made up and made suggestions on tournament structure/organization. :)

We had 13 people participate (Ruan Ke, you were terribly LATE!!), everyone was divided into two group. Everyone played each other in their own groups. Each match consisted of two games to 15 points. Each player totaled up the total number of points from all their matches. The player at the end that had the most number of points (cumulatively) won.

The winner from each group will play each other in the finals.

The first number in the score represents the points for the person in the COLUMN.

example:

in this example: player 1 lost the first game (got 12 points), but won the second game.

Note:

* means that these games were not played (no time left), thus scores winners were determined by relative skill level and the loser was arbitrarily given 15 points (relative skill level); thus *total scores are educated estimates.

Champions from Group 1 and 2 are Feng Yang and Derek Sing.

Final match to determine tournament champion will be between Feng Yang and Derek Sing, held on Tuesday, March 6 at 6pm at the rec center.
