自家架設網誌的朋友，你是如何選web hosting的呢？
香港？外國？
價位每月會花多少錢？
轉web hosting好麻煩嗎？會否不見了資料，或者要重頭來過？
我想搬wordpress去另一個web hosting，現在的不滿意。
我睇過wordpress.com，但她限制多，不能隨意改theme、加plugin等。
不知如何選擇好？價錢越貴越好？

<-- 付費了就應該可以吧? 而且可以用自己的domain.
只是免費版的限制較多了吧?

香港的hosting 也不錯, 我在用的scicube也不錯.
外國的就要再問其他網友, 我答不來了. :p

用wordpress.com不如用yo2.cn,plugin多,theme多

至於選擇外國虛擬主機，給個網址你參考一下

付款係可以買domain，但一樣吾可以任做更改，最多另外付款作有限度CSS更改。

當然選 hosting 並不一定係越貴越好，但好多時服務質素都同收費掛鉤，以我嚟講，我唔選揀香港 hosting 嘅原因主要係
storage、bandwidth 普遍唔夠外國嘅多。

最初我係用 shared hosting，但因為想有更大嘅自由度，所以轉用 Virtual Private Hosting
(VPS)，當然一般用戶未必有咁嘅需要同埋能力去管埋啦。

一般 shared hosting 都包埋 domain，你可以 transfer 埋個 domain 去新 hosting
度，要轉其實唔係太麻煩，只要 backup database (MySQL) 同 WordPress files，再喺新 hosting 度
restore 番，做番少少 setup 就搞掂，正常嚟講唔會冇咗資料嘅。

當然最好嘅做法係令到舊 hosting 內嘅 blog 變成 "under construction" 狀態至 backup 啦，否則 backup
完有訪客留言的話，就要另花功夫帶埋哩啲新留言過新 hosting 喇，但唔離開咗 WP 已經一段時間，唔知有乜 plugin 做到 "Under
construction" 類似嘅狀態。 :P

不過o的人話dreamhost如果block o左你的話（可能你俾人spam or something like that），
你連個database的渣都拿不回來，使我好驚驚。

應該唔會喎，我之前都試過喺 DH 做啲違規嘢，佢最多都係喺緊急兼逼不得以嘅情況下先 take down 你個 site 嘅 access，但
command line login 就照入冇問題，可以打 command dump 返個 database 出黎。咁當然要啲技術啦，但真係咁
山窮水盡時問下朋友問下 Google 都會有簡單嘅答案嘅！ :)
