First and foremost, I know this is a great place to share info, but
please refrain from posting reverse engineered code or threads asking
for how to hook into the back end of Google Maps for mobile! This is a
violation of the Google Maps for mobile terms of service and we'll
have to delete those threads and posts.

Anyhoos, before you post, you may want to read through these simple
guidelines to make your time here more effective and to streamline our
favorite Help Group:

1. SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH! Most likely, someone before you has posted a
very similar question. You'll find the search bar in the upper right-
hand corner of every Groups page. You can click the following link to
find some tips on searching effectively:

2. Don't see imagery or data for your area? Please check to see if
your area appears clear or has data on http://maps.google.com

Chances are, if it's not there, we don't have imagery or data for your
area. We work hard to update our database with whatever we can get our
information hungry hands on, so check back early and check back often!

3. Found a data/imagery error in the Google Maps database? You can
report it here:

http://maps.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=data_errors

Try to be descriptive in your report so we can investigate what's
going on in that area.

4. Try searching the Google Maps for mobile Help Center found here:

http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/topic.py?topic=9112&hl=en

There's a ton of useful information there, so you should check it out
before you post up a new question.

And, just so you folks know, Tom and I will be in here more often so
even if we don't answer your question directly, you can be assured
we're at least taking a peek.
