Its currently broken for me (and other reports on this group) too :( -
No file works...

As a work around you can upload the file somewhere (eg with FTP) and
then paste in its URL into the bottom box on the Import dialog - that
tends to be more reliable.

The alternative is like mentioned paste the url direct into the Search
box - that will display your file. You can even save it (as non
editable) to MyMaps tab with the link provided.
