Follow these tips, and it's likely that you'll get a faster, better
answer to your question.
1. Search, search search:
This is Google, after all. Please take a little bit of time to
search over the archives and the Maps Help Center (http://
maps.google.com/support) before you post your question. Your friends
Google Maps Guides have spent lots of time generating useful
information in both places, especially regarding common questions on
ranking, categories and reviews.
2. Be detailed:
The more information you provide off the bat, the more quickly
we'll be able to troubleshoot your questions. Make sure to include the
following details:
- A description of the exact problem
- Steps we can take to reproduce it
- What should be happening (instead of what is happening)
- Your full business name, address and phone number (both incorrect
and correct)
- As a bonus, a direct link to your business listing. To generate
this link, right-click on the name of the business listing, and select
"Copy Link Location" (Firefox) or "Copy shortcut (IE). Then paste this
link into your question.
3. Avoid multi-posting:
Be considerate of each other and of those who want to help you
create, edit or remove your listings. We can track and answer your
questions better if you only post it once. Feel free to create two
posts if you have two separate questions.
Disclaimer: If you don't receive a response in a week, first make sure
that the answer to your question isn't in the Maps Help Center (http://
maps.google.com/support). Still hasn't been answered? Feel free to
post again.
Thanks, and happy posting!
