Subject: Feedback on Headsets
We often get calls from folks wondering which headset is better.
That's obviously a very tough question, as the use of any particular
headset is a matter of personal preference.

For instance, some prefer the U-shaped, under the chin headset. Others
like the firm "grip" of a stethoscope headset. There are also headsets
that simply hang on the outside of the ear.

We also realize that folks experience headsets differently based on
the quality of the sound card in their computer, the clarity of the
original dictated file, the equalization settings of their system, or
their own hearing.

Nevertheless, we feel that if you can share with this esteemed group
your experiences - good or bad - with specific headsets, others may
find value as they contemplate which to purchase.

If you also have any questions regarding headsets, this is the place
to ask.

Bret

I have a DSS-4000 and like to use an earpiece when driving.

However, the sound is too low in any typical 3.5mm  earpiece I try.

Any ideas?

Interesting question. I have tried headsets like those used with
Dragon naturally speaking, and those seem to work well (from
Plantronics, VXi), but as just one without an over-the-head bracket,
I'm not sure.

I'll test a couple I have around here and let you know if I find one
that works well.
