One of the prime reasons I got a production PC (previously I just used
Windows for the office stuff) was to get access to all the multitude of (mostly free) tools used in DVD production. A lot of them may come from the hacking community - but hey they work! Make your (oversized) DVD to a file, and then beg/borrow a PC and run the file through 'ShrinkDVD'. The default settings will simply re-encode everything to exactly fit a DVD data size.
