Hi! I am mommy to Ashley, who is 10 yrs old with Down Syndrome.  We are looking to move after school is out in June and are looking at different districts.  We live in Kenowa Hills now and Ashley is in a MCI room K-4th- she will be in 5th next year so it's time for her to move on.  They dont have a class for her at the middle school - they say they can create if needed (what ever that means!) we don't really like that idea.  they also said she can be on the waiting list for Sparta.  I toured Sparta and like their program, but not sure if we will get in. So we are looking at other options just in case.  So I am wondering opinions on other schools.  we are looking at Comstock Park, Forest Hills, Northview and maybe Cedar Springs.  Anyone in these districts? if so, how's it going?  I have 2 other daughters, 6 and 3 who are in regular ed so I have to consider where they will go to school as well.  Thanks!
