This should hopefully be fixed now. The schema compare tool does not
script Postgres sequences if they match the criteria below. Please
download the latest from dbsolo.com/preview and let me know if it
works as expected.

Marko

When DBSolo 3.5 generates a script from the schema comparison tool for
a table that has a SERIAL or BIGSERIAL column it incorrectly scripts
creation of a SEQUENCE. In PostgreSQL the column types SERIAL and
BIGSERIAL are shorthand notations that include creating a sequence
with the name table_column_seq, and for setting the default value of

This applies to DB Solo versions 3 and 3.5 MS SQL Server connections
using DB Solo for OSx. YMMV...

By default, the setting "Remove comments before sending statements to
the server" is set to 'yes'. This can possibly cause problems when
editing existing stored procedures in a normal query window as

 Hello.

The problem:
I have encountered a data type mapping problem when generating DAO
classes.

--Context:

The context is DBSolo 3.0 and a SQL Server 2005 database. In several
tables I have DECIMAL fields. In DAO generator, "Data Type Mappings"
section, I define a rule: from DECIMAL to BigDecimal Java data type,

I think the problem is that 3.0 install (incorrectly) uses the 2.0
drivers (go to tools / JDBC drivers and see what JDBC drivers your 3.0
install uses).
To fix this, you could manually fix the JDBC drivers in your 3.0 install.
Marko
