This should hopefully be fixed now. The schema compare tool does not
script Postgres sequences if they match the criteria below. Please
download the latest from dbsolo.com/preview and let me know if it
works as expected.

When DBSolo 3.5 generates a script from the schema comparison tool for
a table that has a SERIAL or BIGSERIAL column it incorrectly scripts
creation of a SEQUENCE. In PostgreSQL the column types SERIAL and
BIGSERIAL are shorthand notations that include creating a sequence
with the name table_column_seq, and for setting the default value of

This applies to DB Solo versions 3 and 3.5 MS SQL Server connections
using DB Solo for OSx. YMMV...

I can't reproduce this, can you post the CREATE TABLE statement for
your table? I created the following table

CREATE TABLE [decimal_test] ([col1] DECIMAL(7,2) NOT NULL)
GO

ALTER TABLE [decimal_test] ADD CONSTRAINT [decimal_test_pk] PRIMARY KEY ([col1])
GO

I think the problem is that 3.0 install (incorrectly) uses the 2.0
drivers (go to tools / JDBC drivers and see what JDBC drivers your 3.0
install uses).
To fix this, you could manually fix the JDBC drivers in your 3.0 install.

I'm sure i need to copy something but I can't figure out what. When
ever I try to remove ver. 2.0 my ver. 3.0 will not connect because its
missing a file. Is this a common occurance?

Select the server connection in the schema browser and uncheck the
'use brackets with identifiers' setting and click on update.
