I have been hammering Senator Salazar and Representative (future Senator)
Udall on healthcare. We need healthcare for all and to mind that means
Medicare for All per Dennis Kucinich. I have the same plan as members of
congress and it's not all that great for low income people. We donated a
copy of "Audacity of Hope" along with "Ogallala Blue", and "The Worst Hard

I agree Paul. After I read his autobiography, I believed that he
is the Real Thing. I think he will talk more in the right because he
has to, to get elected. But unlike Clinton, he will come back home.

Got there at 12:20 PM and got to our seats about 1:30. Got home at midnight.
The whole thing was surreal. We had a lot of friends in our section and I
know a couple dozen of the delegate very well. I had to take a tranquilizer

I watched from behind the podium in a seat just under Denver Mayor
Hickenlooper's box with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. It was fun, and
important.

For a while I was taking my commercial white stoneware body, drying
out the trimming scraps, slaking them down and then running the slip
through a 60 mesh sieve. This sieved slip then applied well to
leather hard trimmed pots. The sieve removed any coarse materials and
grog.

Cone 6 to 10 White Slip

65 Ball Clay
20 Silica
15 Custer Spar

Josh: What an interesting and complex question. Let's assume your clay
body is 100% XX Sagger clay - body that Heino sometimes uses. If you
mix 100% XX Sagger into a slip and coat your wet clay, or leather hard
clay, (or like Pueblo potters) dry green ware, in each case you have a
different shrinkage, as well as a different shrinkage than the clay

I've used this recipe for years, with good results. Only on cone 10 grogged bodies though. Please use due diligence and test, before trusting that it will work for you too.
Cone 6 to 10 White Slip

I was depressed on top of jet lag yesterday, after hearing about
the dog ban at NCC, but Obama snapped me out of it. :^)
I was planning on working mostly at the NCC studio. But I have
thrown at my wheel for 14 years now, with my dog by my side. When

What I have used in the past, is SuperWhite from Continental
CLay. I buy it dry and just add water. I first started using
trimming scraps, but when I stopped using it as a body, it was a
simple solution just to buy a 5lbs dry SuperWhite. Has same
shrinkage as the stoneware bodies I use, but is smooth, light colored
