We at Victory Man Racing are hosting the Spirit of Columbus
half-marathon on August 31, and are looking for volunteers to help
before and during the race. We have had great success with boyscout
troops in the past! In exchange for volunteering we offer a $10 donation
per person to the troop, free food and a race t-shirt.

Parkside Community Church, located at 5505 Hyde Park Drive in Hilliard is actively looking for Boy Scouts or Adult Leaders to assist with their Wednesday evening public service in support of the Food Bank. Public service hours are each Wednesday from 5 to 6:30 PM and entail work at both the church location and the food bank facilities.

But the following event, on Saturday, Aug. 16, is a great local opportunity for families to do some inexpensive back-to-school shopping. It also teaches some great lessons to our kids about the importance of reusing and recycling.
