What are the correct interval times for stroking & purging?

• Factory settings are one hour for stroke & four hours for purge.

 

What process should I follow to extend these intervals?

• Make an incremental adjustment extending the stroke interval time.
  
  
• Are you able to maintain a flat line pressure drop across the filter?
  
  
• If so, make another incremental change extending stroke interval time & continue extending stroke time, as long as you can maintain pressure drop.
  
  
• If pressure drop rises, return to the previous stroke interval time.
  
  
• Follow the same process for extending the purge interval time.

 
What are the benefits of optimizing stroke & purge intervals?

• Extend life of cleaning disc.
  
  
• Extend life of lid packing.
  
  
• Extend life of linear & rotary actuator.
  
  
• Extend life of purge valve.
