Web app to send out email reminders?
Can anyone recommend a web app that can send out reminders for tasks? I'd like to get one running on my linux server. I have no trouble finding software to remind me of events (with a duration), but lots of trouble finding software to remind me of a task at a given time. Thanks. Stephen

productivity tip: ViaPost.com (UK only)
I've been spending the last few days trying out various ways to improve productivity. Ironically the worst has been trying outsourcing with GetFriday.com and AskSunday.com The best has been the discovery of a service that launched last month, [link] which for now is for the UK market only. When you hit print and select them as the printer, some seamless... more »

GetFriday.com and AskSunday.com
Has anybody had a good experience of these services? I've been trialling both and it's been a complete disaster. Regards Lee

Retrospective aspects of GTD
I have been using GTD for a while now and it has undoubtedly helped me get more organised. However one thing that I am starting to notice is that GTD doesn't automatically provide a framework for re-visiting tasks that one has worked on in the past. Here is an example: I have been doing a number of reports for our Business Unit these last... more »

New GTD applcation, Gtdagenda.
For implementing GTD you might try out this web-based application: [link] You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar. A mobile version is available too. As with the last update, now Gtdagenda has full Someday/Maybe... more »

Help with basics of GTD workflow
I think I’m missing something obvious about the GTD system. The book does a great job explaining the motivation behind the system, but I don’t get the specifics of workflow. I could really use some help understanding what exactly goes in the next action lists, what goes on the projects list, and how these two lists interact. For example,... more »

looking for Outlook 2007 add-ons
I was wondering if anyone knew of an add-on(s) for Outlook 2007 that will give users a simple "file" button that will file the email in a folder based on where other emails from that person are filed. I'd also like a "send&file" that does something similar. BTW, ideally the folder would be a shared folder on Sharepoint (not sure if they're treated differently).... more »
