Subject: looking for Outlook 2007 add-ons

I was wondering if anyone knew of an add-on(s) for Outlook 2007 that will
give users a simple "file" button that will file the email in a folder based
on where other emails from that person are filed.  I'd also like a
"send&file" that does something similar.  BTW, ideally the folder would be a
shared folder on Sharepoint (not sure if they're treated differently).
I know I've seen this stuff before, but now that I'm looking for it, I can't
find it.
Thanks!

The David Allen Company plugin does some of what you reference:
1.  It gives you a file button
2.  It provides a Send and File (as well as other options).

Sharepoint directories are not supported.

Some of what you're asking for is best provided through a good set of
rules/filters.  You may want to check in on those tools.

Also, the Jello Dashboard is a tool along the same lines. I haven't tried it
depth, so I don't know if it does what you need, but it's probably work
looking at.

Yes, There are many like this.  The GTD Add-in is very constrained - I
purchased and used a copy for six months until I discovered
ClearContext.  Much "looser" on the GTD constraints and really just
enables me to file and define next actions as I process my inbox.  But
it too is a bit constrained,... (just not as much).  I feel that as we
get better with GTD, we need fewer "training wheels" (or guides to
keep us defining the edges).

True GTD Applications can be found here: http://lifehacker.com/378062/five-best-gtd-applications

While the add-in I think you are looking for is SpeedFiler.

Good luck!!
